I'm from Vancouver, British Columbia and have been with Makai Properties since 1994. I spear-headed the first real estate office on Kauai's west side with the opening of Makai Properties in Waimea. I moved to Kauai with my husband Mike and son Cody in 1993. We wanted an enriching place to raise our son and we felt that Kauai was that place. I'm currently president elect of the Westside Rotary club, a board member of the West Kauai Medical Center Charitable Foundation, the Westside Community Development Corporation and co-owner of Makai Properties. Living on a tropical island is okay if you like remote beaches, dramatic hiking trails, finding sea turtles resting on a reef... that kind of thing. It might not be for everybody but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Stop by my westside office located in Waimea town in the big green building next to Subway sandwich.
